So I was gonna start using my dreamwidth. That was funny. I made a few entries and then crawled right back to tumblr, apparently never to return.

I am back though, hopefully I'll use the thing some.

I've sadly been shamelessly doing nothing on dreamwidth than backlogging a couple weeks on fandomsecrets. Oops.

comments

Wow so apparently I have already used that as a title? As my last post's title, even?

Oh, no. I shouldn't slip into habits like that. I should change it.

There. That's better. Now there's an addendum.

Life is rather slow lately. I go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays and I read inbetween my classes. Other than that, I lounge around in my room and watch TV shows. I finished Breaking Bad season 4, and started on Dexter. I finished that today, and have LOST downloading. I've been rewatching Doctor Who with Kristi, who has only seen the last 2 series. Well, now also series 1.

And while LOST is downloading, I've been rewatching Cowboy Bebop and remembering what a wonderful show it is.

Book-wise, though! I preordered John Green's The Fault in Our Stars and read it all a couple days after I got it. And I sobbed through the last hundred pages, pretty much. I don't think I've ever been that emotionally drained reading a book ever. I also just finished Neil Gaiman's American Gods finally. I'd put it down for a while last year after getting about halfway through. Seriously. Fantastic.

So that's about all I can think for now in terms of updating.

comments

You know what is entirely and utterly more complicated than it has to be? Setting up AT&T U-Verse on a new TV.

Technically, I didn't even set it up on a new TV. I took the TV from my room and attempted to hook up the box. It only took an hour to get it right. It was hooked from the wall to the DVD player to the cable box to the TV, finally. Well. It took the better part of an hour to realise that my old TV was just not gonna hook up via DVD player.

Not to mention all the times I had to go and restart the router so that it would finally connect. Comcast was never this needlessly complicated.

I'm just glad I'm getting my new TV today sometime. The UPS lady can't come fast enough

comments

still...working on this layout, woo. i wanna make a banner but my graphics skills are crap, so i don't know if i will or not.

i also need to work on actual entries, this isn't like tumblr where it's textpost central a bunch of times a day. i've been ruined by it.

comments
